Privacy Policy

PacaPrep is an independent practice platform for students preparing for the World Scholar's Cup. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to scholars and parents.

We designed PacaPrep to support focused practice, progress visibility, and account recovery without adding social features or unnecessary public exposure.

We collect the information needed to operate practice sessions and paid access. This can include sign-in details from Google or Discord, account email address, practice history, streaks, leaderboard data, payment-related order records, and support messages you send us.

When a scholar starts a trial before signing in, we may temporarily store anonymous session identifiers and practice progress so the session can continue and later be linked to an account if the scholar signs in.

We use information to deliver practice sessions, save progress, show results and review history, manage subscriptions or season access, troubleshoot payment or activation issues, and improve question quality and platform reliability.

If a scholar reports a question from review mode, we store that report so admins can investigate and improve the practice bank.

Payments are processed through PayPal. PacaPrep stores order, plan, and payment-confirmation records needed to activate access and support reconciliation, but we do not store full payment-card details on our servers.

Access is not granted just because someone returns from PayPal. Access activates only after confirmed payment processing inside PacaPrep.

We share information only with service providers needed to run PacaPrep, such as authentication, hosting, database, and payment infrastructure providers. We do not sell personal data.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend the platform.

We keep account, order, and practice records for as long as they are needed to operate the service, maintain progress history, reconcile payments, and address support or integrity issues.

Anonymous trial records may be retained for a shorter period when they are no longer needed for session recovery, fraud prevention, or linking a completed purchase.

You can contact support to request account help, payment assistance, or questions about stored data. Signed-in scholars can also manage core account details from their profile page.
